How would you like to be able to know what your energy consumption and costs are, for any piece of equipment in your facilities, any given time of the day, week, month or year? As part of our due diligence before installing DPS, we provide stakeholders a Web-enabled energy-information-management intelligent network that tracks real time energy use of their buildings and facilities. Through such programs as Demand Response, an energy load curtailment initiative offered by utilities, commercial and industrial building owners are afforded reduced electrical rates in exchange for an agreement to curtail energy use at the request of the utility. Building owners or managers who have the ability to reduce loads by turning off equipment or using alternative sources of energy can realize significant savings under these programs. See graphic illustration below of an energy intelligence network:

EIM Process Working with our alliance partners, AEST installs an advanced meter infrastructure with data acquisition server (DAS), sub meters and software and configures the server for Internet connectivity. Through this system's approach to energy efficiency and conservation, AEST is able to conduct continual operational analysis of stakeholders' buildings, helping to deliver critical energy usage and environmental information, enabling variable real time decision making solutions that was once a fixed and static. With this approach to energy management, stakeholders can perform building "load" profiles, heretofore not available to them, to assess their building's energy demand and performance cycles. Graphic illustration below represents example of "load" profiling:
